Rooted deep in the underground hardcore

In a cramped Saigon courtyard, a “normal” Wednesday transformed into an explosive underground hardcore showcase. Featuring relentless sets from bands like Shiv, Born in Hatred, Happyco., Under Pressure, Empathize and Knife Sticking Head, the night bypassed personal space for raw violence and community spirit. It was a high energy celebration of passion over scale.

A rare Monday eruption of punk and hardcore energy hit Saigon as ElbowDrop, Bim Bim, 9xactly, BIB, and Cút Lộn delivered nonstop chaos. From Hanoi punk grit to US hardcore ferocity, the night built wave after wave of pits, stage dives, and unfiltered energy.

This time Out The Run invited a hardcore punk band from Omaha, Nebraska called BIB. They play noisy as fuck, blown out hardcore that can be compared to bands Hoax or Pissed Jeans. It ain’t pretty and it ain’t nice.

Out The Run delivered another wild yet strangely orderly night in Saigon. From Grudgebound’s explosive early set to Blind Girls’ emotional crash, District 105’s EP premiere and KINH’s razor-sharp finale, the show moved with constant intensity. A loud, warm reminder of how alive the underground still is.
