Last Monday was redefined by one phrase: “The chaotic Monday,” a perfect term to describe the show XÍCH, TRỨNG VÀ BBBB organized by Out The Run. Despite taking place at the start of the week, the event proved that the punk spirit never sleeps.
ElbowDrop — A Monday Night Hit to the System
The chaos was kicked off right on time by ElbowDrop. Although the venue seemed emptier than usual (definitely due to it being a Monday night when most people were still busy with work), ElbowDrop still delivered an energetic set with their “kung-fu” hardcore. They successfully created the first pushes in the pit, igniting the flame to start a long night.

Bim Bim — Hanoi’s Punk Pulse Hits Saigon
Next up was Bim Bim, an egg punk band from Hanoi. If one word had to be used to describe them, it would be punk. They fully brought the distinct punk vibe of Hanoi to Saigon. The band’s seamless coordination clearly raised the temperature in the venue, especially as more audience members were arriving. It was truly a great pleasure to witness Bim Bim performing in Saigon.

9xactly — Stirring Their Street Punk Back To Life
9xacly took the stage and maintained their momentum. Still carrying their signature rowdy spirit, 9xacly successfully stirred up the audience and opened the pit once again. And this time, the intensity of the atmosphere made spectators quite concerned as more forceful collisions occurred.

BIB — The Night’s Breaking Point
As expected from a hardcore punk band from the US, BIB delivered the highest-climax set of the night. Their music was loud and distorted; the drum section, though simple, made their songs better than ever. The vocalist interacted intensely with the crowd. This was the set where people staged-dived the most.

Cút Lộn — Closing with Relentless Fury
Finally, Cút Lộn closed the perfect night. They fully transmitted the hardcore spirit to the audience, and the audience responded by opening the pit nonstop. Despite it being a Monday, people kept moshing relentlessly. Hopefully, everyone still had enough energy left to go to work the next day.

From ElbowDrop’s opening fire to Cút Lộn’s relentless finale, the night unfolded as a rare Monday eruption of punk and hardcore energy. Each band carried its own intensity, Hanoi grit, Saigon chaos, US ferocity, stacking wave after wave of crowd movement. By the end, the venue felt transformed, exhausted, and absolutely alive.
