Formed in 2023, Lulaby is a Vietnamese rock band whose roots trace back to Cần Thơ before settling into the buzzing creative climate of Ho Chi Minh City. The band’s own motto: “chơi nhạc cho bạn nhảy” (we play music for you to dance to) sums up the easygoing, communal energy that defines the group both on record and on stage. Rather than chasing trends, Lulaby treats each release as a step in an ongoing journey, one shaped by exploration, friendship, and a willingness to follow ideas wherever they lead.

Their lineup brings together five distinct musical sensibilities: Vương Gia Bảo, Pat Nguyễn, Hoàng Ngô Tuấn Khanh, Nguyễn Mai Quốc Thắng, and Thanh Trung. Each member contributes their own background and influences, weaving them into a cohesive sound that feels fresh, layered, and unmistakably theirs. The result is a dreamy, genre-blending flavor of modern rock that pulls from indie, alternative, and psych-leaning textures.

Since their debut, Lulaby have steadily built a catalog of singles that maps their growth as a band, including “Lạ Kỳ” (2023), “Xoay Vòng” (2024), “Miền Ký Ức” (2024), and “Đâu Chỉ Riêng Tôi” (2025). Each release marks a new chapter in their sonic experimentation, moving between bouncier, danceable moments and quieter, introspective passages. Tracks like “Xoay Vòng” and “Lạ Kỳ” have become entry points for a growing online fanbase, while their newer material continues to push toward something looser, dreamier, and more confident.

To Lulaby, music is more than performance; it’s an adventure. The band remains a curious, open-hearted group of creators, chasing something honest and meaningful with every listener they reach. With four years of writing, releasing, and gigging behind them, and a sound that keeps evolving, it feels like Lulaby is just getting warmed up.
