Last to Feel is a melodic post-hardcore and easycore project from Vietnam, built from the ground up as a fully self-contained DIY operation. Every part of the process writing, production, recording, mixing, and development happens independently in a home studio, with no label backing, no outside producers, and no major funding behind it. It’s a one-room ethos that places the entire creative chain in the artist’s own hands.

The music draws a clear line back to the golden era of melodic post-hardcore while pulling in the bounce and momentum of modern easycore. Massive, low-tuned Drop A guitars build crushing walls of rhythm, set against drum grooves that lean explosive rather than merely fast. Cutting through it all are clean vocals, soaring, melodic, and emotionally forward, that give the heaviness somewhere to land. The result balances technical, modern production against songwriting built on hooks meant to stick.

That contrast is the band’s calling card: weight and melody held in equal tension, with breakdowns and choruses feeding into each other rather than competing. It’s a sound that wants to be felt as much as heard.

As a newer project, Last to Feel’s recorded catalog and live history are still taking shape. What’s already clear is the intent: a self-reliant, production-conscious take on a genre with deep roots, made on the band’s own terms from inside Vietnam’s independent scene.
