Hohish works between the intensity of Saigon and the calm of Phu Yen. He picked up photography after leaving the nine to five path, starting with street work where timing and instinct guide everything. That beginning shaped his approach. He is drawn to unscripted gestures, fleeting expressions, ambient details, and human presence. He pays attention to what unfolds in front of the lens rather than staging or directing. His work has moved through many creative circles in Saigon. He has photographed Drag Queen scenes, B-boy and hip hop dancers, and most recently the live music community in small clubs and underground rooms. His images are not made to be perfect. They are made to feel lived in. He uses photography to stay connected to people, movement, and sound, searching for emotion that feels true rather than simple documentation.
