Vietnamese-New Zealand metalcore force GAI 荄 has officially released their long-anticipated debut full-length album, “YOU LI,” marking a pivotal moment in the band’s relentless climb. The record is the product of nearly a year’s worth of studio grind and a Kickstarter campaign that rallied fans from across the globe.
“YOU LIE” features ten tracks that stretch across metalcore, nu-metal, and deathcore territories, layered with emotion, precision, and ferocity. The band worked with a range of artists to shape this sound, including none other than Emmure’s Frankie Palmeri, who lent his voice to the blistering track “False Boy.”
Other contributors include artists and producers from the U.S., Australia, Japan, and Vietnam, creating a truly international footprint. These collaborations don’t feel like mere features—they’re integrated elements of a cohesive sonic vision.
