“We Are Good Kids” – A Letter From Nha Trang

The "We Are Good Kids" show was a night of raw energy and chaotic passion. From Mast 69’s fiery grunge covers to Die So Far’s explosive set, the crowd was immersed in a live experience that will never be forgotten.

The show began at 6:00 PM, but the scene was already buzzing long before that. The venue, though tiny, was brimming with anticipation. With a maximum capacity of only 50 people, it quickly became clear that the place was going to be packed to the brim. And packed it was. As the evening wore on, it became obvious that the crowd wasn’t just there for a show—they were there to be part of something bigger, something raw and untamed.

The night kicked off with Mast 69, a band that delivered a fiery and energetic set. Their renditions of grunge classics are executed with fiery passion. They didn’t hold back, pouring every ounce of energy into each note. The crowd responded in kind, a sea of nodding heads, fists in the air, and voices joining in on every chorus.

Then, a highly anticipated debut took place on stage. Power of Truth, a new band that had been building anticipation for weeks, took the floor. It was their first time performing, and they wasted no time making an impression. They started with two original tracks, then the band busted out two covers. A solid reminder of how local bands can offer something fresh and exciting to the underground scene.

The energy surged higher when Under Pressure, the Saigon-based hardcore band, took over. They brought a raw, untamed energy to the stage, igniting the crowd with their fierce, unrelenting style. From the first note, Under Pressure commanded the room. The crowd didn’t hesitate, they were in it for the long haul. People started shouting “One more song!” and even “Ten more songs!” The excitement was contagious, and the energy felt limitless.

But the night wasn’t over, not by a long shot. The grand finale came when Die So Far took the stage, and the place erupted. The band performed 10 out of the 11 tracks from their upcoming EP. The crowd’s response spoke volumes, and it was clear that Die So Far had truly cemented their place in the scene. Their EP, “We Are Good Kids,” which was showcased that night, promises to be a powerful release, and if the show was anything to go by, it’s sure to be a hit.

Throughout the night, the energy only escalated. The audience dove into the chaos, joining in on every mosh pit and stage dive. People were throwing themselves into the music, and the music was throwing itself right back at them. The crowd screamed, laughed, and sang along, even if they didn’t know the words. And while there were no official photos taken, only a few grainy audience videos, the real memories were etched in everyone’s minds.

Thetans – Worldwide Vibes [2025]

Thetans return with Worldwide Vibes, a darker, more experimental follow-up to their debut. Blending punk energy with darkwave textures and raw dynamics, it’s a slower burn that still hits hard in its own offbeat, genre-defying way.
