Out The Run (OTR)<\/strong> was founded in 2016. by a passionate musician and a dedicated supporter of the local music scene, Bomb. For some time Bomb was supported by Sergey for the shows in Hanoi. After Sergey’s move to Ho Chi Minh City in 2019 they join forces full-time and are now known as the OTR crew. What started as a grassroots effort to bring more live music to their community quickly evolved into a powerhouse of independent show organization. Since its inception, OTR has successfully orchestrated over 100 shows, providing a platform for both emerging and well-established artists.<\/p>

Working with a diverse mix of local and international bands, OTR has had the privilege of hosting and managing performances for renowned names such as The Ocean, Alpha Wolf, Ugoslabier, Wormrot, Tariot,<\/strong> and many more. Their reputation for professionalism and dedication to the craft has made them a go-to choice for bands looking for seamless event execution.<\/p>

Beyond organizing shows, the OTR crew is crucial in assisting bands with sound management, logistics, and overall stage setup. Whether it’s a small underground gig or a large-scale event, they ensure every performance delivers an unforgettable experience for both artists and audiences.<\/p>

While OTR welcomes a variety of genres, they have gained particular recognition among fans of punk, slam, and extreme metal.<\/strong> Their relentless support for these intense and high-energy genres has helped cultivate a thriving underground music scene, drawing in loyal crowds who crave raw, unfiltered live performances.<\/p>

With a deep-rooted passion for music and a commitment to keeping the scene alive, Out The Run continues to push boundaries, bringing some of the most electrifying and hard-hitting acts to the stage.<\/p>

House of Ygra was launched in March 2021. as a music label for Elcrost<\/strong> (a black metal band) by Imperial Cult<\/em> – Nadgor<\/em> – Darkseid<\/em>, they specialize in many aspects of extreme metal, including death, thrash, grindcore, etc, but with a more focus on black metal.<\/p>

House of Ygra is a completely DIY label that has focused on making limited designed physical releases for Hanoian bands, some bands on thier roster including Elcrost<\/strong>, Vong<\/strong>, R\u00eavasseur<\/strong>, Dodssanger<\/strong>, Nuclear Stockpiles<\/strong>, Blood Serpent<\/strong>, Putrid Vomit Christ<\/strong>, past alumni including ROT<\/strong>, Leukotomy<\/strong>.<\/p>

Outside of releasing music, the label is also a proud promoter of extreme metal in Hanoi, handling both small local shows and hosting big international acts. Our two main show lines are MASS<\/strong>, a black metal-focused, highly curated show, and SCUMFEST<\/strong>, a catch-all show for death, thrash, and grindcore. Our biggest shows to date are Wormrot<\/strong>, Pure Wrath,<\/strong> v\u00e0 Undeath<\/strong>. Mission and plans for the future are “undying dedication to the underground, keeping alive the traditional DIY way of extreme music, unbound, unbroken, no compromises”<\/p>
