UK power trio, Little Barrie<\/strong>, will return to Vietnam with Malcom Catto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Credited as ‘the best guitarist of his generation’ by Edwyn Collins<\/strong>, Barrie<\/strong> was recently drafted by The Black Keys <\/strong>for their live tour and previously worked with Liam Gallagher<\/strong>, Primal Scream<\/strong>, Morrissey<\/strong>, The Chemical Brothers<\/strong>, and Paul Weller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to composing and performing the main title theme for the award-winning series, Better Call Saul<\/strong>, Barrie<\/strong> has also contributed music to Baz Luhrmann<\/strong>\u2019s ‘Elvis<\/em>‘ and the acclaimed BBC drama, Peaky Blinders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the untimely passing of drummer Virgil Howe <\/strong>in 2017, Little Barrie<\/strong> underwent a healing process where returning to the studio, reconnecting with music without seeking an end product, became therapy. Aligning with Malcolm Catto<\/strong> – a leading figure in the UK\u2019s funk, jazz, and psych scenes (Soul Destroyers<\/strong>, DJ Shadow<\/strong>), the band slowly but surely emerged from this emotional exile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their recent album and follow-up to “Quartermass Seven,<\/em>” \u2018Electric War\u2019, was released on Dan Auerbach<\/strong>\u2019s Easy Eye Sound <\/strong>label and has garnered critical acclaim, with MOJO magazine<\/strong> awarding 4 stars, praising its \u2018thrilling results\u2019 and UNCUT including it in their Albums of the year list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re excited for their return to Vietnam for what promises to be two incredible live shows. Saigon surf-psych favourites, Skeleton Goode<\/a>, and math-rock outfit, irihi will provide support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
