Shallow Vessels Illuminate With a New Single “Lighthouse”

Saigon post-rock outfit Shallow Vessels unveil a new single, delivering their signature mix of ambiance, synth textures, and crushing breakdowns. The release expands their sonic journey while reinforcing their place as one of Vietnam’s most compelling instrumental acts.

Saigon’s post-rock unit Shallow Vessels have released their new single “Lighthouse,” a track that marks both a milestone in their journey and a glimpse into their future path.

Following their debut “Odyssey,” it makes one wonder about the seas and water paths the trio is taking while writing. Built on Shallow Vessels’ signature blend of atmospheric, layered guitars and dynamic shifts, the track captures the band’s intention beautifully.

The track was mixed and mastered by guitarist Angelo, with the band joking that he deserves both the credit and the blame for how it sounds. The result, however, is a compelling snapshot of Shallow Vessels’ ability to fuse ambiance with intensity, pushing Vietnam’s post-rock movement further into its own distinct space.

For listeners seeking music that feels immersive and evolving, Shallow Vessels’ latest release is another step in their ongoing exploration of sound and form.

The single is now available on all major platforms.
