Con Cá Điện unveil the visual chapter of “Dark Light”

Saigon rock act Con Cá Điện return with the music video for “Dark Light,” turning an introspective track into a vivid visual journey. Shot across Saigon’s streets and neighborhoods, the video explores beauty, pain, and emotional duality through sound and image.

Saigon-based rock act Con Cá Điện has released the official music video for “Dark Light,” giving the song new visual life after first sharing it as an audio track a few months ago. “Dark Light” is framed as a journey between light and darkness, where beauty and pain coexist rather than collide. Inspired by the poem “Trời Ơi,” the song reflects on inner conflict and emotional duality, themes that are now more clearly expressed through imagery and on-screen movement.

The video leans heavily into its setting, capturing vivid slices of Saigon life. From narrow alleyways to open streets, it highlights the city’s raw energy and the colorful versatility of its neighborhoods, grounding the song’s abstract emotions in a very real, lived-in urban landscape.

“Dark Light” was produced and recorded by Nguyễn Trọng Kha, while the visuals are credited to THEHY8RYDCOMPLEX, with ANTONEMENT serving as director and art director. Check out this beautifuy a sensory snapshot of Saigon and a deeper look into Con Cá Điện’s evolving artistic voice.
