Formed in 2023, in Hanoi, Nuclear Stockpiles is a three-piece hardcore punk band known for their raw energy and politically charged performances. Their inception brings a fresh and confrontational sound to the forefront, taking a different perspective on Vietnamese punk rock.

Describing their genre as “Anarcho-Armageddon Hardcore Punk,” Nuclear Stockpiles delivers aggressive, fast-paced music infused with anarchist themes and a sense of impending doom. Their debut release, Rehearsal 23′ – Demo, captures the unfiltered intensity of their early sound, laying the groundwork for their growing presence in the punk community.

Nuclear Stockpiles quickly gained notoriety for their explosive live shows. A standout performance at Scumfest #4, where they shared the stage with international death metal act Undeath, showcased their ability to hold their own among seasoned performers. Their live sets are characterized by high energy, raw sound, and a palpable connection with the audience.

The band is closely associated with House of Ygra, a Hanoi-based independent label and collective that supports underground metal and punk acts. This affiliation has provided them with platforms to reach wider audiences and collaborate with like-minded artists. Their involvement in the scene extends beyond performances, contributing to the growth and cohesion of Hanoi’s hardcore punk community.
