Bedlam Royals is the latest evolution of the musical journey that began as LEER. Though LEER never officially disbanded, the band entered an indefinite hiatus due to various life circumstances of its members. During its active years, LEER released an album titled “AKT – 1” and performed extensively across Serbia, building a loyal following.

Plans for subsequent releases, “AKT -2,” “AKT -3,” and beyond, were always in the works. Throughout the hiatus, new music continued to be written in anticipation of a revival. One fateful night at a beloved local bar, Viktor shared his vision with Binh and Cerrin. This led to the trio jamming old LEER songs and developing fresh ideas. A few weeks later, Mike joined the group, bringing his own unique style and seamlessly integrating with the rest. This marked the official birth of Bedlam Royals.

Late 2024. brought unplanned changes to the band. Life circumstances and personal paths put the band on a short break, giving remaining members time to polish tracks and the concept of the first release. In 2025, the band is back on it again with Callum Rollo on drums and Stephan Ben Guyen on bass.

The band is influenced by post-metal, prog-metal, stoner rock, and sludge. Some of the band’s main influences are The Ocean, Mastodon, ISIS, Neurosis, Deftones, Opeth, Deafheaven, Thrice, and more.

Bedlam Royals are currently working on their first album titled “The Gap,” featuring four new songs and a rework of two old LEER songs.
