Cút Lộn has evolved from crossover thrash to a heavier, darker sound with their 2024 album Bắc Thảo. With a shifting lineup and relentless energy, they continue pushing boundaries in Vietnam’s underground metal scene.
In late July 2023, a chance meeting at a Saigon café brought together Kien and Hieu, who shared a passion for hardcore music. This encounter led to the formation of Empathize. Their search for additional members resulted in the recruitment of Bao and Mai Phuong, completing the initial lineup. Despite facing several lineup changes, Empathize has solidified its formation with six dedicated members.
Formed in early 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City, Infecated began as a straightforward old-school death metal band. The original lineup consisted of Nhan (guitar), Toan (vocals), and Duc (drums), later joined by Hung on bass. This formation laid the groundwork for their raw, aggressive sound.
