Hanoi’s genre-blurring outfit Thetans are back with a new visual trip for “Neverland Forever”, and it’s every bit as strange, self-aware, and sincere as you’d expect. Built like a scrapbook on acid, the video is a lo-fi collage of gig snapshots, Vietnamese street life, scene icons, and blink-and-you-miss-it memes — all stitched together with that signature Thetans weirdness.
The track, one of the rawest cuts from their latest release “Worldwide Vibes,” finds new life through the visuals. And not just by complementing the lyrics but amplifying their bite. The rough edges are intentional; this is less about polish and more about personality, grit, and DIY glory.
Produced entirely by the band, “Neverland Forever” feels like a chaotic love letter to both their world and the world around them. And if you ask Thetans, they’d humbly call it “one of the most consequential cinematic releases this year.” No notes.
Watch the video. Thank Thetans later.
