Cút Lộn is a hardcore band formed in Hanoi in 2018. The original lineup consisted of Quang Sọt on guitar and backing vocals, Sergey Bochenkov on drums, Mạnh Quân on bass, and Lê Đức Thanh Hải on vocals. Over time, the band underwent several lineup changes, with Nguyên Lê joining on bass in 2019 and Lê Minh taking over as the lead vocalist in 2021. These changes contributed to the band’s evolving sound and dynamic.

In early 2019, Cút Lộn released their debut album, “Xào Ke,” which showcased their crossover thrash style. Between 2020 and 2023, they released three more singles, each accompanied by a music video. These releases highlighted the band’s energetic performances and their unique blend of thrash metal and hardcore punk.

In early 2024, Cút Lộn underwent a significant transformation with a change in their lead vocalist (Vui Qá joined) and a shift in their musical direction towards a heavier, darker, and more chaotic sound. This new phase culminated in the release of their second studio album, “Bắc Thảo,” in August 2024. The band plans to continue producing music videos for the tracks from this album, further showcasing their evolved style.

Known for their high-energy live performances and sarcastic yet poetic lyrics written in Vietnamese, Cút Lộn has built a reputation for engaging shows. They have performed extensively across Vietnam and have also taken their music to international stages in South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Cambodia. Their most recent international performance was at the Rock Alarm Festival 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Looking ahead, Cút Lộn aims to continue pushing the boundaries of their music, delivering powerful performances, and connecting with audiences both locally and internationally. Fans can anticipate more innovative music videos and live shows that capture the band’s evolving artistic vision.
