The title translates to “just words,” but Now or Later have put much more than words behind this one. “Chỉ Là Lời Nói” lands as a joint release with m tú and comes packaged with an official music video, making it the band’s most fully realized drop to date. After bringing in US emo rapper Ded Stark on Alien, the band once again opens the door to an outside voice, and once again it pays to see who they invite in.
On the audio side, the team stays tight. KET handles both the mix and the master, and Thủy Phạm designed the single’s artwork. The video is where the scale shows. Phạm Thuận carries most of it himself, directing, shooting as DOP, grading the color, and co-editing alongside Khanh Trần. Chou Chou handles design, Phạm Hữu Đạt documents the shoot behind the scenes, and a production crew of Bong_Hwa, Janeyyy, yat_twan, Hồng Minh, and Ngân keeps the set running.
One credit worth noticing: Trần Anh Khoa sits behind the kit in the video. Now or Later‘s listed lineup has no permanent drummer, so the MV gives the role a face, at least on screen. Stream the single now.
